We currently go through plates at an alarming rate - I put it down to not having a dishwasher and stacking them up!!

Anyhoo, we had a little jaunt to Pontefract market on Wednesday and had a look around the fab charity shops there.

On the way we saw a canoe for sale by the roadside for £20!! Mr Twigs had been after one for ages, so we stopped and bought it!!

I've been after aforementioned plates for ages, went in the Prince Of Wales Hospice Shop and got this lovely lot of flippin Denby crockery for £4.25!!

And some sundae dishes for our Angel Delight, 3 for a £1 just like my Mum's - they remind me of Sunday tea time.

  However, I forgot to take a photo of them, so will post one next time.

 Here's the bread and butter pud I've made for tonight, we are having it after our chicken with beetroot, potatoes and peas from the lottie - scrummy !!

That we spent a lovely 3 days in Filey with Mr Twigs family this weekend,as I didn't take any photos - sign of a good time !!

Poor old Twiglet has been feeling off it since we returned, so I'm taking him to the docs in the morning :(

I'll blog some pics soon,as I found a bit of charity shop gold yesterday and must post some pics of our super fertile lottie !!

Righto off to dye my hair now, purple would you believe and I have to return to school in 2 week - wonder if the head teacher will send me home, I can live in hope :)

A Grand Day Out - Emley Show 2013

Well we had a lovely time at Emley Show on Saturday with our pals.  The weather was great and we arrived at 10.15am and didn't leave until 4pm and we didn't get to see everything!

A grand day out indeed, as you can imagine the majority of my photos are taken in the horticulture and craft sections, there were some fabulous entries, so well done to everyone who took part.

Of course me and my pal C passed judgement on all the winners and decided we should have a bash next year (I'm still miffed about coming 3rd last year :)

I've loved him since Local Hero and the glorious Angel Islington in Neverwhere.

You all know of my great love for Mr Tennant, but I will miss Matt Smith as he has been excellent.

Fame comes early for Twiglet!!

We were sitting at Nana and Grandad Twigs house today after a jolly shopping excursion to Doncaster - Nana showed us the sights and sounds of the fab food market and also bought us a load of lovely fish and fruit-Thanks Nana!!

Anyhoo,we were having a look at the Wakefield Express which had a double page spread about the music festival we went to last weekend.  

I asked if you could spot us in the crowd, better than that Twiglet and Mr Twigs are pictured !!  See link!!

Honestly, his first ever festival and he gets media coverage - fabtastic!!

Off to bed now, the Emley Show tomorrow, our pals are coming round at 10am.
