Earth Shattering Day.

Well did you feel it? We woke up just before 1am thinking why are the paintings banging on the bedroom wall and it was an earthquake, in Yorkshire, whatever next !!! Needless to say my little Twiglet slept straight through the commotion.


Before I go on, big apologies for any typos, I had an argument with a can yesterday and my poor thumb got rather a nasty cut, so I have a bandaged left thumb which makes driving, crafting and typing very difficult :(


Anyhow, trumpet fanfare, exciting news. The lovely Jules of Creative Makes has nominated me for the You Make My Day Award. How lovely and right back at you Jules, if it hadn't been for your encouragement I wouldn't have taken the plunge. I'm amazed that I've won the award as it is incredibly early days for me but I'm so chuffed :)




Here's what I have to do.............


1) Write a post with links to 5 blogs you find of interest and that inspire you.


2) Acknowledge the post of the award giver.


3) Display the logo "You Make My Day"


4) Tell the award winners that they have won by commenting on their blogs with the news.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.
