Things that are making me smile this week.

 Hello campers.

Did you think I'd forgotten you?

I'm in that whirlwind of a new job and routine.

New tasks, new colleagues, training courses.

I've just had to indulge in some wine and choccy a sure sign I'm back at work.

Mr Twigs said welcome back to the real world - oy cheeky !!!

Although I'm tired, all is so far, so good.

So anyhoo, here are some things that have made me smile in the last couple of weeks.

Lots of Twiglet hugs.

A visit to Cannon Hall Farm to see the gorgeous new born lambs and piglets and watching our little onion and sweetpea seedlings coming through - yay !!!

Here are some pretty pictures of some other smile inducing things.

Marmalade made by me and the little fella !!!
I bought some lovely packs of Christmas fabric and didn't have time to do anything with it before Christmas.
I've now made a cushion and some table mats for next Christmas.
I love this Orla Kiely bag that I bought from Tesco, it's now become my work bag - I need a big one - so to speak !!
Here's some of my lovely birthday pressies.

How cute is this cross stitch kit, which I'll hopefully have the energy to start soon :)

Cute little set of drawers from my pal.

Gorgeous neckalce from my sister, the photo doesn't do the colours justice.
Righto, that's me for now.  Have a great weekend.
Love
Twiggy xxx

  4. Glad you have had time to let us know how things are going, you sound very happy in your new job. I'm sure the wine and choccy will help you relax and it's the weekend now. I've not been around the last couple of weeks either as we moved house on the 1st so I've been busy getting unpacked and sorted.

Take care and try and still have some "me" time you'll need it more than ever now

    Hugs Jackie x

  5. Lucky you with all those lovely presents. I especially like the cross-stitch. Not that I could do it! The bag is lovely. I like Orla Kiely designs. It's a bit posh for Tesco! Glad to see you back. I know exactly what it's like to learn a new job, from scratch! Keep with it. x

  6. Hey lovely, look at us, two working girls! Congrats on the job, no snogging the headmaster.
I work two full days a week and for some reason that renders me unable to do much for the rest of the week, which is weird. I am so pleased for you!! (sorry I missed saying this on your last post, I was working hehe). xxx

  7. p.s really well done as getting work in schools is incredibly hard, I know I tried millions of times but there was always twenty million other people applying at the same time. So you must have been good(well you are!) xxx

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
