Is that the sun ???

Blimey it's actually been a lovely sunny day today, in fact I was looking out of our bedroom window this evening and spotting two hares boxing in the field across the road - amazing.

Spring must have arrived.

So another busy week.

Our cheeky pigs are settling in nicely, see above, they like a good wrestle and it makes Twiglet giggle.

My friend C came round on Thursday and we had a little stitch and natter session, we are such a pair of old biddies.

Yesterday we visited here.

Well worth a visit, very interesting and run by volunteers, very reasonable entrance charges and a visit to my Mums afterwards !!!

The beautiful weather today encouraged us to go for a Mr Twigs character building walk and to clean out the greenhouse and plant some seeds - forgot to take photos (I'll try and get some snaps this week).

We now have some pretty little pots of primulas around the back door and a greenhouse with onions, sweet peas, sunflower, leeks and red cabbage seedlings.

I treated myself this week to a few late birthday goodies, which I'll tell you about later as it's now time for Vic Reeves style trouser rubbing.

Hooray David Morrissey in South Riding - DING DONG !!!!

Love
Twiggy x

  2. I'd call you a Wobbly Old Lady but you're neither wobbly or old LOL

We're a while off Spring doing that springy thing yet but I did notice the daffys are just pushing through the soil today.

Late night shopping is great but I don't expect to be doing it at the end of night out - still it was her birthday night out and she enjoyed it LOL

Things are still wobbly here but at least the smalls know I'm always constant for them :(

  5. Hee hee - you're going to love this - I was in a film with David Morrissey last year. I got to play a roman wench in Centurion - and got to sit on his knee the entire day. Got to know him very well *wink* - and yes - he is completely adorable in the flesh - and yes he was wearing a skirt - and....sigh - he did nibble my ear and.....ah...must get over it.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
