Brrrrr

Hello campers, innit chilly?  did you think I'd follow off the edge of the planet?
I've been working more hours over the last couple of weeks and to be honest I've been a bit cream crackered.

First day off for a while today, so thought I'd catch up a bit.

How's it where you are? it's v.chilly and snowy up here on the tops, very pretty though.

Mr Twigs and I popped out to do our weekly shop today - usually do it on Wednesday but I was working, so we're all stocked up and ready for anything now. (The shops were v.busy and the poor old checkout lady said people were being nuts and buying loads of bread!!).

I've got to show you this lush pork pie my brother in law made us for Christmas, it was delish, he used to have a butchers shop and knows his pies !!

Fingers crossed for a snow day off school tomorrow.

We'd especially like one for Monday as it's my birthday - how jammy would that be :)

Anyhoo I'm not one for New Years resolutions but one I MUST do is get my cranky old back sorted, so before the ice arrived we did a lot of walking.

Hope you like the pics.
We had a walk up to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Sunday.
 I love this new bridge.

From one cheeky boy to two cheeky furry boys, Dom and Henry are good buddies now.
I posted some magazines, and a puzzle book and some choccy to my Mum today with strict instructions, to stay indoors and take care of herself !!

I've just had a peek outside, the trees are covered in frost and the snow is swirling down in the street lights - so pretty.

Keep warm and cosy.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
