Here's my view, well sort of..............

Vicky over at Angelsey Allsorts asked us to post a piccy of the view from our kitchen window. Well our window looks straight into next doors kitchen and although it's very clean and tidy it's not very inspiring( also Mr neighbour) often walks around topless - it's not pretty, so I wanted to protect his modesty.
Instead, I've posted the view from our lounge window, which I love and its one of the reasons we bought this house. Hope you like it...............

  8. wow, what an amazing view! I don't have a kitchen window- just a door, overlooking our garden, and the lounge window looks out onto the terraced street- not particularly inspiring! I bet you stare out at that all day!x

  9. I must admit i do spend a lot of time staring out of the window, the buildings to the right are old stone farm buildings and when the sun hits them as it's setting they glow, it is beautiful. It's lovely to watch the changing seasons and Twiglet likes to watch the farmer plough his fields. We live in a little village between Huddersfield & Wakefield.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
