Spent quite a bit of time in the garden, look at the pretty butterfly I managed to get a snap of.
There was Grandad Twiggys birthday, here is the chocolate creation, Twiglet and I made, in parts there were 3 layers of choccy buttons on top and Twiglet wanted more - that's my boy ;)Here are the cards we made for Grandad, firstly mine................................
More garden shots, aren't the leaves on our blueberry bush a gorgeous colour?Picked some rosemary to dry for the winter, chopped off sunflower heads to keep the seeds and picked more tomatoes.
Ooooo and more tomatoes, we have loads from my greenhouse and Grandma Twiggys so I'm going to attempt what Twiglet calls tomato Chupanee(chutney) for the first time ever, I'll keep you posted.
Check this out it's my nobbly, bobbly, don't ask! I managed to grow one cucumber and it weighed in at one and a half pounds, it was HUGE - excuse fuzzy photo.
Righto, that's all for now. Being a saddo who likes to hibernate in the Winter, am v.excited to see the return of Spooks soon, with Rupert Penry Jones and Richard Armitage!!! Ding Dong A Go Go. Also spotted Mr Tennant in the Autumn schedules, oh my.
Have a terrif week
Twiggy x
PS Thanks for all your lovely comments about my cards.
mmmmmmmmmm, I thought the chocolate cake was yummy looking until I spotted the pizza, I want an invite to tea for pizza, it looks sooooo good! Not helped by the fact that it's nearly tea time here and I'm starving!!!

speaking of ding dong i can highly recommend some period costume activity in the shape of paul betteny in master and commander...poor swampy is getting quite fed up with multiple viewings heheheh...it has a gorgeous soundtrack too ;)
Well what can I say?

i have tagged you lovely :)
ReplyDeleteLove Richard Armitage, love home-made pizza, in this order! I am glad little Twigs is feeling better, he is an expert at rolling pastry with two hands, and looking at the camera at the same time! I hope Mr Twigs feels better soon, I expect he put in an order for some carrot muffins. I am somewhat jealous of your nobbly bobbly! I always think the good old- fashioned homegrown style cucumbers taste the best. x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous snap of the butterfly! I am glad twiglet feels better!
ReplyDeleteI like chocolate buttons too! A lot!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling very hungry after seeing all that yummy baking! I just love homemade pizza...mmmm.
