Right you lovely lot.......

I seem to have opened up a can of worms with the Oooo be nice campaign idea :) However, I do feel I'm preaching to the converted here as you are a lovely lot.
I did a little experiment when Twiglet and I had our daily stroll the other day and said Hello to everyone we saw and although some people looked a bit startled they all said Hello right back and some even smiled and made further comment!!! did make me laugh though, when they replied and Twiglet shouted My Pleasure :) - hmmmm..........
Now I know it's all very well chatting and saying How Do to people when you live out in the sticks but quite another thing if you live in a more urban area and obviously you want to chose your recipients carefully, but how about this. This weekend smile and say Hello to someone you don't know and see what happens. Spread a little happiness as you go by as the song goes.
love

  1. Twiggy,
Loved the comments on manners! So right you are about the lack thereof in today's society. Twiglet is so very lucky to have you as an example of what TO DO and not the opposite. I am trying out your theory of smile at EVERYONE (lest they wonder what I'm up to?) to see what happens. It is a great idea to spread joy. We certainly could use more of it. Thank you for the kind comments on Grant's b'day, I'll pass them on to him today. Yes, a mother's love is boundless isn't it! Remember these young years with Twiglet, they pass so very quickly and then are gone, but the precious memories are priceless! Hugs, Jan

  2. I smile and say hello to people all day and every day in my job. I so know what you mean when they look at you with that gobsmacked expression on their face! I shall give the saying hello to a stranger on the street a try when I am next out and about. I hope he turns out to be young and good looking! x

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
