Well Twiglet seems to be on the mend, we're all coughing away, but much better. We had a week of firsts last week, Twiglets first ever harvest festival which was just gorgeous. It took place in our lovely village church, he told me I must be VERY careful as it is very old and I must not break anything :) He did a star turn as a leaf and his class sang a song and explained how trees grow. His little mate said the prayer which consisted of him shouting very quickly and loudly, THANK YOU GOD FOR TREES!!! I love littlies school productions, you have a tear in your eye cos they are so sweet and so very funny too. Here's the cupcakes we made for the audience.

Another first was his parents evening, it is good to know that he's settling in well, is very confident and likes to share information - you don't say:) He is making friends and is very protective to his little girlyfriend which I think is just lovely.
We had a little celebration for Grandad Twiggys birthday, here's the cake Twiglet and I made.

With the germs slowly clearing off, my mojo is on the horizon (this could be why I've signed up to do two swaps!!!) here are a few bits I made this week.
We had a lovely weekend and took Twiglet to Thomas the Tank Engine land at Drayton Manor Park, I had to save my Tesco vouchers for flippin ages for this but it was fabulous. We didn't tell Twiglet where we were going and when we pulled into the car park, he said in his little croaky

voice, I AM VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

What a top place. We finished off the weekend with a most pretty walk in the woods, this is my favourite time of year and a Sunday afternoon walk with my boys in beautiful woodland, followed by a fab Sunday roast cooked by Mr Twigs is just magical.
