Missing, presumed having a good time................

And so we have.

Mr Twigs is still off work and slowly but surely improving every day.

We have had a lot of time to fill close to home and have really enjoyed it.

Days at Grandma's, days at Nana's.

Visits to my good friend C and her lovely boys - the children played together for hours.

Circus Stars work shops at the library, walks, visits to the park, trips to the lottie (Twiglet took his paddling pool and sprinkler up with us and cavorted around in his pants and wellies and a sun hat :)

Lots of crafting, Lego, reading, drawing, baking.................

Garden experiments.

and lots of swimming.

The days are just fun packed.

I for one, would be quite happy not to go back to school - but needs must.

We have one more week to enjoy, then back to it, I love spending time with my boys and hope you have all enjoyed the holidays too, whatever you've been up to.

I'm sure you've noticed, we've been having a lot of jollification and I forget to take any photos - what a bad blogger !!!

  2. Awww nice post. Yes, the summer holidays are coming to an end. It's been nice, but it's almost a relief to us, to be honest. P is going insane when I'm at work with all three kids at home - poor thing. Any nice plans for the bank holiday? xx

  3. I'm glad Mr Twigs is continuing to improve and do well. You sound as if you have been having a fantastic time even though you have had to stay close to home. Enjoy your last week of holidays

  5. Hi,
We have been doing lot as well. Although it has been a bit reduced this week due to the weather and Sophie wanting to just play with her toys. lots of apples to cook up at the moment and Sophie has plenty of ideas for them too. I love spending time at home with Sophie and it is one of the best things about being a parent, the school holidays! Maybe not for everyone but it is in this abode.
Hope your lovely red tray survived the experiment!
    xx

  8. I am always sad when they go back to school - and even sadder this year because 2 out of 3 will be at university, so not even coming home in the evenings!
Glad Mr T is on the mend.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
