The big reveal and some other stuff.............

Well the real life crappola is still rolling on but I'm missing the old blogging.

Not only do I find it a lovely way of recording our daily family life (I often read back, what we were up to this time last year) I also find it a good way to accentuate the positives, which is a useful thing to do at the moment.

So here I am.

Although we had the lurgi over half term we had a really nice time as  Mr Twigs lovely big Sister went away on holiday and offered to lend us her house (with cleaner!) so we had a nice time mooching and playing with all their gadgets !!

I'm glad to say apart from old man coughs we are all better now.

Anyhow, how are you? well I hope.

It is definitely feeling like Spring up here, the nights are drawing out and we've had some gorgeous warm, sunny days. (I welcome this but as you know I'm a big fan of Winter, but it's nice to be outside again).

Saying that though, it's been snowing and raining all day here, so we've had a cosy Sunday, very lovely indeed.

The big reveal is my finished sampler at the top of the page - do you like it ?  it took me 11 months to complete and I must say I am very pleased with it!!

We had a little jaunt to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park recently - didn't stay long as it was v.v.v.cold.

Today we bathed the guinea pigs, they look so fluffy now !!

and finished off with a bit of art work.

Twiglet's space painting, mine is a painting of Spring - do you like the mucky Easter chick at the top :)

Have a great week.

love

  8. Beautiful sampler Twiggy! I know what you mean about life, but blogging is a good way of keeping a record of your better moments. Remember what was said in Kung Fu Panda - Yesterday is history, tomorrow is the future but today is a gift - that's why its called the present!

  12. Bloody hell, that sampler is amazing! I am properly impressed and would be waving it under the noses of complete strangers on the bus if I had made it.

The design looks familiar - is it from a Phoenix card? I'm sure I sent one very similar to a friend.

***To those I follow and who follow me - is my blog appearing on your dashboard? Blogger appears to be losing some blogs I follow!**

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
