Spring has sprung

Or so it seems at the moment.  What a glorious weekend we had, spending most of it just pottering or walking and enjoying the sunshine.
After a Winter of neglect we began this years work up at the lottie, and had the backache and nettle rash to prove it on Monday :)
Mr Twigs got rotivating, I did some digging, while Twiglet enjoyed riding on some new tracks made from our neighbours old fence!!!

As you can see, we have a lot of work to do.

Then home for very tasty home made lasagne.

I also had time to finally catch up with my pal this week, we haven't seen each other since Christmas Eve. She very kindly brought me some lovely belated birthday gifts and cake!!

Pretty soap buttons.

A fantastic candle making kit.

Very cute owl magnets.

Gingerbread men candles.

All wrapped up in a lovely Miffy bag.

She knows what I like - there was choccy too - but I scoffed that !!

I do hope you enjoyed this post, as I have a new net book and it has taken bloody ages to type it - it is too small - argh!!!!!!

Until next time and excuse typos.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
