(Twiglet's Easter card - I think it's ace).
Well I didn't mean to disappear but what with the first week of our Easter hols whizzing by and me still getting to grips with my pesky netbook, I went AWOL.
I'm currently typing this on Mr Twigs lovely big PC :)
So how have you been?
Hasn't the weather been extraordinary, the Thursday before we broke up for Easter was Twiglet's Easter Service in our village church and very nice it was too.
A lovely warm sunny Spring day (I didn't even wear a cardi in the usually artic cold church).
We've spent a lot of time here at lovely Greenhead Park, and proud Mummy alert, Twiglet rode his bike without stabilisers for the first time EVER this week.
(He fell off and hurt himself rather badly later the same day but we won't dwell on that!).

Fast forward to a week later and it bucketed down with snow!!!
So 8.15am Thursday morning saw us out sledging :)
We now seem to have entered a grey, cold , drizzly phase, so we are spending Easter with my Mum and my lovely In Laws rather than the camping trip we considered !!!
I must confess that we've done a fair bit of this too - I'm addicted to Lego Harry Potter on the Wii - oops !!
Another lovely walk at Folly Dolly Falls - great name.A lovely warm sunny Spring day (I didn't even wear a cardi in the usually artic cold church).

Can you see the mad woman and cute boy on the miniature steam train?

Twiglet's Easter bonnet - what a cutie !!
Lurid Twiglet biscuits.
There we have it a whistle stop tour, of our hols so far.
We haven't been away from home much but we're having good fun.
I have some Easter makes to show you, but they aren't quite finished, so I'll pop back later.
I really must get the old crafting mojo back.
I had a health MOT recently and all is good but I need to lose around half a stone, so we are going for a walk most evenings after school - weather permitting.
Not only that but I'm hoping to start working for the education supply service soon (as well as my current job) so I'll have to address my rubbish time management issues - and get off the flipping Wii :)
Have a lovely Easter, I am now going blog hopping while I have the chance.
love
Twiggy x

ReplyDeleteHi Twiggy :)
ReplyDeleteLove Twiglet's Easter card ... he obviously inherited your artistic talent. Great photo's - such a contrast between the sunshine and snow lol. Hope you are all well and look forward to seeing your Easter makes when you get time to show.
