I have a new way of looking at things........and HELP !!

It's because now I'm getting on a bit I have finally had to buy some vari focal specs.  This is great as I no longer need to make my finance reports at school 150% bigger and print them out on A3 paper.  I no longer have to take my glasses off to read books and I can read the small print on the back of Calpol bottles - so important at this time of year.

My new specs are larger than usual to incorporate my complex prescription (jam jar bottoms :) .

In other news, I know I have been a blogging slacker but we have had major `stuff' to deal with, but onwards and upwards, it's not long to Christmas now, so now I can actually see to stitch again, I better get cracking.

We are having a relatively low key Christmas - as usual :) but I fancy making a few bits and bobs, I've even made my Christmas cake which I must photograph at the weekend, so I can show you.

Here's the HELP bit - I have an error message saying I do not have any space on Blogger to upload photos - noooooooooooooo, anyone else had this?  If so, what did you do? I refuse to cough up cash for extra storage but don't really want to delete photos from my blog :( all help will be gratefully received.

Righto, wee Twiglet is off school with his first lurgy of the Winter, so healing vibes please peeps.  

I better go and check on him and do a spot of ironing.

    Hi Twiggy,varifocals are great aren't they? no more having to swap glasses or carry glasses around when you go out.
    Im sorry Twiglet is poorly but there are a lot of bugs around just now....its the time of year
    Ive not had that message on my blog sorry I cant help. Im not aware of others having it either but I only visit a relatively small group of blogs so others may know differently

    Hi Twiggy - I have had the same prob with blogger. I just switched off my computer and started again - no prob. I think it's just bloger bloggering about!! x Jo

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
