Hooray the sun arrived and off we went ........

Well the weather certainly picked up and Mr Twig and I have the sunburn to prove it !!  Honestly, we slathered factor 30 on Twiglet and forgot ourselves-barmy !!

Anyhoo we started the weekend by visiting Tropical World at lovely Roundhay Park in Leeds.

Here's a photo of Twiglet and his Vapouriser car !!

I LOVE the meerkaters - as Twiglet used to call them!!

The park looks gorgeous at the moment and it was so nice to see it so busy.

Sunday saw us over at my lovely Mums.  Me in my usual spot, snoozing in the Summer house :)

Monday morning, I was a bit sulky about being at home when it was so sunny - I know, childish :) Mr Twigs ran upstairs and shouted who wants to stay at Scarborough tonight.  Twiglet and I shouted - WE DO PLEASE!!

You'll note Twiggy is building a sandcastle and everyone else has run off to see the 5 fishing Cobles come in with HUGE catches of crab !!

He'd booked a really good deal for a B & B on laterooms.com and as Peter Kaye would say, we booked it,packed it and ****ed off !!
The donkeys going home to bed - bless!!

We had a lovely day in Scarborough on Monday and spent Tuesday in fantastic Filey !!

Here are some of the lovely Cobles coming in.

If you saw 3 loons cavorting in the very cold sea in a dinghy and on body boards it was us- shameless !!

Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine whatever you are up to.

We've got home from school and Twiglet is currently in his paddling pool.

I will fill you in on part two of the half term once the photos have been uploaded.

Cheery  bye

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
