Well fancy that, 2 posts in 24 hours.
Spring was in the air again today so I did plan on another character building walk but sensed that Twiglet needed to do some boy stuff.
(I love our old post box,so pretty).
(Signs of Spring - yay!)
Our compromise was a quick turn around the duck pond and then his pal came round for the afternoon.
(Hope you enjoy a few village pics.)
This gave me the opportunity to do a bit of ironing and catch up with Indian Summers that was broadcast on Channel 4 on Sunday night.
I must say, so far so good. I really enjoyed it (the tv that is not the ironing).
The boys meanwhile had a great afternoon, doing whatever it is boys like to do (mainly games and computer stuff in their case:)
My lovely boys have gone out to do the grocery shopping this evening, and allowed me the evening off to rest my old back.
I have thrown together a rhubarb and apple crumble and some cherry buns in their absence.
(One of our two village pubs, which is reputed to be haunted!)
( I love this house).
We are going out with friends tomorrow, which is always top fun, must remember my camera.
Chin, chin.
Twiggy
oooh so glad you are still here. You kept coming up in my rss feed as needing a password. When I clicked on your blog it said private. Now the page is jumping up to the top but I can still type. Blogger must be poorly today. great photos.

What a gorgeous village, Twiggy. I still see a few of the old king George post boxes here in Ireland, painted green. Thanks for sharing your walk with us.
ReplyDeleteAfter a tempting glimpse on Tuesday Spring seems to have vanished here, its cold, wet and flipping freezing! MMMM...rhubarb crumble! x
ReplyDeleteSnowdrops are such cute spring flowers. I have some daffy that are breaking through and hopefully some tulips which usually make an appearance so eine in July!
