Happy Yorkshire Day

Well Hello there and a very Happy Yorkshire Day to you all.

I didn't intend to be AWOL since 20th May but life got rather fraught and my lovely Mum was rushed into hospital and has been very, very ill.
Thankfully she is now back home and very slowly on the mend.
What with that and Twiglet finishing at first school and me being very busy with real life stuff, time ran way with me.

So anyway, what have we been up to? many things connected with Twiglet leaving first school, swimming galas, performances, church services.

Many other things connected to the fact he has now left Cubs and will be joining Scouts in September, where has the time gone? sigh.......

We are now on school hols, and the first 2 weeks have whizzed by, just back from a return visit to the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff Bay, had a fab time, what a gorgeous area, (pics to follow, after Mr Twigs has uploaded them).

Meanwhile today, we have had a very jolly if soggy Yorkshire Day at the Emley Show, here are LOTS of photos.
 Gorgeous blooms.

 Lovely children's art work.
 Mmmmmm cake............

 Gorgeous jewellery.
 Card making.
 I think this is gorgeous.

Children's cakes with a Yorkshire theme, this one with the silver cornet Emley Mast and marshmallow sheep really made me smile !!

 Fab children's photos too!!

Righto off out for dinner with my inlaws to a Japanese restaurant tonight - a first for me.

I promise not to get so behind with the blogging in future.

Ta ta for now.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
