Ahhh I LOVE September, the seasons changing, crisp bright mornings, farmers bringing in their crops. We have a theory that every year the week after all the children go back to school the weather is stunning. Mr Twigs parents are both retired teachers and can confirm this, much to 
their disgust:) We often used to go on holiday during this time before Twiglet started school and had some cracking weather.
So considering the little chap is now at school, we did our best. I visited the Sculpture Park with my pal on Thursday and we needn't have worried about having nothing to talk about without the children to distract us. We twittered on for 3 hours and managed to fit in a really long walk and coffee, cake and sunshine. Tiptop.
This weekend, we had a terrific time in the old dinghy at Filey, the weather was GORGEOUS, (if only my photos did it justice). I even sloped off alone and had a swim in the sea, boy did I ache the next day - what an old codger!Sunday was spent round at Nana and Grandad Twigs for a barbecue, so we really did squeeze all we could from the glorious September sunshine. Hope you had a super time too.
I haven't done much crafting this week as I'm doing a bit of furniture and stash shifting at the moment, so all will be revealed at a later date. I also have another little project lined up next week, but as they say on News at Ten and we'll have more on that story later.............

yes, this time of year is also my favourite as well, the changing colours of the trees, cosy nights, xmas just around the corner. The photo's of Filey are great, I love visiting there. A little project lined up, can't wait.... I'm in the middle of finishing something off which I hope to list on Folksy this weekend.
