Busy,busy

Well the news from Twiggy Towers is Twiglet still loves school and has a girlfriend!!! already!!! fast cat. He's come home with 3 I'm a star awards and a certificate already, what a good boy.
I'm still missing my little buddy but inbetween the domestic tedium I'm managing to do a bit of this and a bit of that. I've also got a few projects in the pipeline but more about that at a later date. So this weekend we popped over to lovely Holmfirth for a bit of shopping and climbing in the playground. On Sunday we visited Kirkstall Abbey, we have driven by soooo many times and never been, if you can get there do, it's fab. Beautiful abbey and park, a little train and ice cream!!
So what else have we been up to?
Scoffing the last of our veggies from the garden.A bit of making and doing.
Starting to do a bit for my various shops. A few Christmassy Country Living tags.
I also made a few birdy tags and popped them in my MISI shop.
Bit of stitching.
I'm quite proud of this Stanley t.shirt I made for Twiglet (adapted from the Make book by Cath Kidston). A sideways shot- don't ask !!!
Some lovely stuff I bought from Lynsey over at Swirlyarts, smashing as always. Lovely Thomas tags for Twiglet (sorry about sideways picture again!) and fairytale envelopes, too lovely to use really :)Finally, I had a jaunt over to my fave big old church hall rummage charity shop and look what I got for a fiver (as well as some books for Twiglet not pictured). These fantastic Ladybird books. And 3 pretty china cups for a project I have in mind. I'll leave you with a piccy of a gorgeous card I received from my good friend Helen to help keep my spirits up when wee Twiglet started school. What a lovely lady.Talking off lovely ladies the hanky has come in useful this last week Vicky (Anglesey Allsorts) but I think I'm over the worst of it now :)
My buddy and I are going out tomorrow morning for a little jaunt without any children or husbands for the first time EVER!!! ooo excitement, what will we find to talk about without having to break off to stop naughty boys misbehaving! I'm sure they'll be cake involved somewhere.
Have a lovely week.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
