It's nearly that time again !!

Preparations are being made, parcels hidden,tickets bought. forget the Diamond Jubilee it's Twiglet's 7th birthday on Saturday !!!

7, where is the time going???

Anyhoo, we have been such busy bees recently, and Twiglet is having a week long birthday as usual, we went out for dinner last Sunday with Nana and Grandad, out again tonight with Grandma and off to the Lego Experience and Manchester Airport on Saturday !!

As we managed to have a bit of sun on Saturday we finally got up to thee lottie - it was very soggy so Mr Twigs had to dig a trench, then it was filled with topsoil and we then planted some sweetcorn, pumpkins and sunflowers.

We still have these lovelies to plant out, however, they will have to wait until lovely boys birthday celebrations are over.

    Blimey, they are working hard! We finally got our veg beds made and seedlings in last weekend only to find frost forecast - so off I went to buy horticultural fleece. So far, so good ...

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
