This week we have mostly been..........

Outside !!

Phew hasn't it been hot - as you know I am a Winter gal so have been a bit of a misbo in the hot weather. 

 However, I was home from work on Friday afternoon by 4.10pm, in Twiglet's paddling pool with a glass of Pimms in my hand - respect !!!

We break up for half term tomorrow, and have been very busy bees over the last 2 weeks.  

Twiglet also had a school trip yesterday and I was down at school this evening for their jubilee disco !!

We have done a lot of work on the lottie, see above, and spent a lot of time in the paddling pool !!!

It was Twiglet's birthday a couple of weeks ago and he managed to celebrate for a week - culminating in a trip to the Lego Experience in Manchester.



I promise to be back soon with some makes, we are off to the Railfest at York Train Museum on Saturday and parties at Nana's and Grandma's Sunday and Monday - but I might get time to make something !!!

Righto, off to watch The Apprentice semi final now, anyone watching, who do you think will win?  

I really wanted Gabriella to win but the lovely lady got the boot last week - shows how much I know.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
