Hope you've had the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine this weekend. We seem to have been very busy recently, what with Twiglets birthday, Mr Twigs having last week off work and the Bank Holiday weekend. Normal service resumed yesterday, Mr Twigs back to work for a very short 3 day week, Twiglet has cold and I've done my knee in - honestly, I'm a right old gimmer.We had a little jaunt up to Castle Hill this weekend.

The weather this weekend was fantastico, for once we chose to stay at home and potter and Twiglet had his paddling pool out, two days on the trot. I sat in the garden, sewing, whilst having a paddle in the pool, just lovely.

Thank you VERY much for all of the lovely birthday messages you left for Twiglet, I read them all to him. I can't believe my baby is 4, but soon will, as his place for full time school has been confirmed for September. He thinks it's cool, I don't, so get ready with the tissues, folks. To make matters worse, Mr Twigs can't attend the parents day, so I'm going on my own, any questions?? yes WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???? :)

We took loads of fantastic photos on his birthday at Flamingoland but due to lack of space on my laptop, Mr Twigs has the photos on his, so I'll have to do a lovely birthday post at a later date. But here's a pic of his cake.We all know that blogland is populated with lovely people and I've been very fortuntate to meet some of the best, both virtually and in real life and recently we received lovely gifts from two very lovely ladies.

Twiglet was a VERY lucky boy on his birthday and the surprises went on for a few days. Including this totally fab parcel from Vicky @ Anglesey Allsorts, containing loads of beads and bits and bobs, thank you so much. There was a parcel for me too!As it's half term and my boy is poorly we've done a lot of stuff at home, look what we had at the weekend. Of course we had a big bowl of choccy to dip them in. Here are some lush cranberry hobnobs I made - only problem is I bit into one and half my back tooth fell out - honestly they weren't that hard, anyhoo think I've swallowed my bit of tooth - urgh!! Dental appointment for me on Tuesday then!I have quite a few WIPs on the go, but here are a few of my recent makes, firstly Twiglets birthday card, which he loved.And a few tags that are going to find their way into one of my shops.Twiglet has been creative too, this is his crocodile, isn't it good.I'll leave you with a photo of one of my herb pots, they really are coming on nicely thanks to all the rain and sun.
