Rainy Mondays and other stuff

Here's a pic of our potatoes, I'm very proud as I've never grown them before and they're coming on nicely.
We seem to have been very busy lately, I've even made stuff!!! but haven't got around to taking photos yet so will post that later.
You will have to bear with me as Mr Twigs has bought me a new keyboard, the English version was £60, the Danish one £20. so I now have to guess the symbols, what fun :)
Anyhoo last Monday was a rainy day, so here is what Twiglet and I got up to. Paint and straw pictures.
Paper lilies, I was very impressed with these.A break for retro lunch, Mr Twigs makes the best bread.Carrot and orange muffins. yum!!We've also been taking photos in the garden for Twiglets nature scrapbook, I'm getting to grips with the macro button on my camera.Had a nice afternoon out with our friends, aren't these flowerbeds gorgeous?A bit of tree climbing.Rock climbing with Daddy. This is a place called the Heronry that I've driven by hundreds of times and never visited, we had a lovely afternoon here last Sunday and will definitely return.Had a fab day yesterday, one that Twiglet had been looking forward to for ages, he finally got to meet one of his heroes, but more of that next time. Have a great week.

  5. Great photos. We too have started to look on our own doorstep for days out as we have tended to travel far and wide in the past. I'm growing my spuds in a black bin again this year. There's nothing like fresh veg eaten within minutes of it being dug up. xx

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
