The cavalry has arrived...........

In the form of my lovely Mum. Poor old Mr Twigs returned to work today for a rest and my lovely Mum has come over to take care of us until he is off work again on Friday. Aren't Mums brilliant ?? (my husband is pretty terrif too).
Not much to report as haven't been anywhere due to sprained ankle, it's a fetching shade of purple, blue and yellow with co-ordinating red sunburn streaks on my legs, gorgeous. I look like a fruit pastille ice lolly!!! We set up the paddling pool and tent in the garden , Camp Twiggy!!! and settled in for the weekend. Have spent a lot of time sat in the garden reading and lusting over Gene Hunt - ooo I'll miss Ashes to Ashes when this series ends - please tell me it's not just me???
I received a fabulous parcel of fabric from Kitty recently, I'll take some proper photos and blog it soon.
Hope you like the photos I took in the garden this weekend.
Thanks for all your lovely get well wishes and kind comments about my Dad.
love
Twiggy x

  1. Some lovely pictures from your garden and of Twiglet having fun in his paddling pool. Mums are great aren't they, mine was a star when the girls were small.
Hope your ankle is starting to feel better

  2. Poor Twigs, hope Mum looks after you really well. I can sympathise with the throbbing ankle bit but I think yours is probably worse than mine!

    Get better soon!

  6. We too are total Ashes to Ashes fans - We sort of know Dean Andrews (Ray). His daughter has been at school with our daughter for the last 7 years. He is much better looking in real life - he has fabulous blue eyes.!!

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
