Brrrrrrr

Well it was minus three here last night, very frosty and pretty outside and guess what?? not only is the Twiglet poorly off school (again) missing the schools Victorian Day :( the blardy heating has packed in!! So Twiglet is cosy under his duvet on the sofa, we have a little electric heater going while I await the Sainsburys delivery and the heating engineer. Our plans are write a letter to Father Christmas, watch The Snowman and Father Christmas and I think I'll do a little Christmas sewing as my list is impossibly long - I'll ignore the ironing mountain for another day. Oh well if life gives you lemons then make lemonade and all that !!

PS Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Raymond Briggs, I'll save that for another time :)

    Isn't it cold!! I'm just sat in front of the fire all of the time yelling at the kids 'shut the doors!'

    it was freezing here in the new forest~i lay in bed for a while looking at the frost covering our neighbours roof :)

    i am a huge fan of raymond briggs too...even fungus the bogeyman!!!

    ...my word veri is 'choot' the sound i make on my didje right now!!!

    Oh no - what a rotten time for the heating to pack up! It was blurry cold here yesterday too and even with the heating on I had my scarf and wristwarmers on.....obviously not only my scarf and wristwarmers...that would just be rude.

    Hope Twiglet is soon feeling better. Shame he's had to miss the fun at school :(

    I love Raymond Briggs, Fungus rocks *g* - why do kids books get all the best art? I'm also a huge fan of Lauren Child and am eying up some prints for my wall ;)

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
