It smells like Christmas................

Our house smells divine today because of our fab Christmas tree. It's the first real one we've had
since we had Twiglet. (Hopefully we'll be able to plant it outside after Christmas). It was so lovely decorating it together. Also popped up to the cemetery with a pretty Christmas wreath for my Grandma, another Christmas ritual. We are busy, busy for the next few weeks. Lots of festive jollity. Twiglet has his Christmas play on Tuesday - Rock Around the Flock, and then we have the school carol concert at our beautiful village church on Friday. We'll be back there again on Christmas Eve for the Christingle Service - isn't it lovely having small children at Christmas (They're pretty good the rest of the year too :)

This is our first school one, so all very exciting. Lots of making and doing going on too, but you'll have to wait until later for further info.

Now shock horror, Mr Twigs and I are going out alone for the first time this year - yes, you did hear me correctly. Monday evening we're going to see The Pogues - wahey. Can't wait.
Catch you later.
Twiggy x

  7. A date night? I've forgotten what one of those is since our youngest came along. Our favourite game at the moment is planning all the things we'll do when the kids have deserted us *g* Have a fabulous night - I bet that is an amazing show! (Not as amazing as Alice though!)

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
