Well, I have a few thank yous to mention. Firstly to Lissylou for my lovely Handmade Decoration
Swap, my decoration is so cute and has been stolen by Master Twiglet for his tree!! We scoffed the choccy in record time, I'm using my lovely bookmark in my ancient copy of A Christmas Carol I'm currently reading and my needlebook is in my sewing box !! I'm saving the socks for Christmas :) hope you don't mind that I erm........ borrowed your photo !!
I was also lucky enough to win this fabulous MIFFY!!!!! in a giveaway by super Greenpixey, Ms
Miffy is now in pride of place near the top of our Christmas tree.
Well we are Christmas agogo with Mr Twigs having a week off work and visited Santa on the twilight Santa Express this evening, how on earth we kept this a secret from Twiglet for 2
months, I'll never know!!! was fabbo fun.
When the big man asked Twiglet if he'd been good, he told him he had been a bit good, last week. At least he's honest :)
It has been bucketing down with snow since we came home and is VERY deep outside. looks like a white Christmas for us !!!
Here are some Christmas makes, the t.shirts I made for Twiglet, his two pals and my mate. I'm quite proud of the reindeer one as I did a freehand reindeer design and made this one for the little chap for Christmas day.
Made some delish mincemeat muffins - sorry no photos, we've scoffed them.
Thanks to Daisy at Daisie Days for the top tip of where to get a small white Christmas tree for Twiglets bedroom - he loves it!!! yay for Poundland!!!
So that's me for now, we are having our very first Christmas just the three of us this year, looks like it's just as well as it's pretty hard to get up here due to the snow!! We might go to the Christingle tomorrow at our village church if we can get there. We have the oldies (as Mr Twigs calls them - cheeky) coming round for Boxing Day - weather permitting. We're also taking Twiglet to his first panto next week - wahey!!!
Thank you for reading my blog this year my friends, I will be back soon but meanwhile have a fantastic Christmas however you chose to spend it. Big hugs to everyone who will be missing someone at this time of year. I'll be lighting a candle for my dear Dad. Promise me everyone that you will chill out, be kind to yourselves and not get too upset when the lovely Doctor regenerates. Blimey what a blow that will be, thank goodness for Hamlet on Boxing Day, now where's my Casanova DVD.....................
Happy Christmas
love

Hope you and your family have a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteLove,Sal ;-)
Loving the knitted Miffy, very jealous!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Twiglet got his own tree, indeed, yay for Poundland!
Forgot about your Mr Tennant obsession, what will you do next year, will Dr Who have lost it's appeal for you, will the magic be gone when the young wipper snapper appears? I too am worried but didn't want Chris to go as he was my fave. Can't wait for tomorrow, we're letting small people stay up late especially!
Have a lovely Christmas!!
