Ahh farewell my lovely.............

Did you cry??? I did. We also shouted rude things at the telly after the regeneration but we won't talk about that.

Now apart from the fact I fancy DT he was my special Doctor for the following reason. Way back on Christmas Day 2005, we had moved to our current house a month previous with a baby Twiglet. He had rotten colic from about 4pm onwards, he cried, I cried, Mr Twigs despaired and like idiots we'd decided we should have just the morning with family. So we drove around in the car trying to get him off to sleep the first thing I'll always remember is seeing a beautiful outline of Jesus and Mary projected on the side of our village church. The second memorable thing was after FINALLY getting young Master Twiglet off to sleep we had our Christmas dinner at 10pm and watched the episode of Dr Who that we had recorded earlier. It was the only telly we watched, the first with DT and that is why he's my favourite :)

sigh.............

  3. That is so typical of David, to lift the spirits in ones darkest hour.

  5. I haven't seen it yet - although Monster watched it on i-player this afternoon and deemed the new Dr 'a bit crazy and weird'.

    Bodes well!

Your description of your first DT Christmas with baby Twiglet brings back our first Christmas with Monster who was just six weeks old, very collicky (amid a nationwide Infacol shortage!), and a total and utter mystery to his novice mum! Happy days ;)

    Happy New Year!

  8. My eldest thinks the new one tried to act to much like DT... and failed :P

Thanks for your comment on my blog :D I didn't realise you were Jollymummy but I think I follow you anyway since before Christmas as I love your ramblings. I love a good waffler I do ;) I'm way behind on catching up with my blogs though because of the dreaded lurgy. (Stand back) All stalking welcomed by the way, in fact - actively encouraged :D come by anytime.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
