Normal service has resumed - kind of ..............

Well Twiglet went back to school this morning, phew we had a long Christmas break, he wanted to stay at home but when he realised he'd missed Wednesday afternoons French and PE lessons brightened up :) It sure is quiet without my boys around.
I am now catching up on 3 weeks worth of clean, ironing, domestic boredom (that's why I'm having a little skive on here).
I'll be donning my Siberian snow gear to pick him up this afternoon, gawd it's so snowy and freezing out there - brrrr!!!
Mr Twigs reported that the traffic was so bad on the M62 this morning, that he was able to get out of his car in the fast lane to clear off the ice from the windscreen (it was icing up as he drove )
Roll on the weekend.

  1. The snow hit us last night. All the schools are closed today - no peace and quiet here, lots of squabbles and mayhem! I was glad though as didn't relish driving the eldest to her school at the top of a hill. No thank you. Hope you are having fun ironing *evil snigger*

  2. Where does all this cleaning, washing stuff come from?? I's sure it breeds during the night - it seems a never ending thing!
Make some soup - it will help Vickys cure all - have a drop 'a soup, twill warm you!! (I think the men feel slightly awash with soup - but they dare'snt say! hehe!)

  3. It will soon be the weekend Twiggy.
Glad you enjoyed Twiglets extra time off school. Don't do too much of the dreaded, make sure you have time to craft too

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
