Sometimes life IS sweet..........

I was on a real downer today as I had made plans with my pal for tomorrow and she has had to cancel. My back hurts, I'm feeling like a spare part now Twiglet is back at school, hormones, worrying about the depression I suffered with at 30 coming back etc, etc ..............
What a difference a day makes. I received a laugh out loud email from a very old friend. My big Sister turned up out of the blue with a huge bouquet, wine, cake and pressies. She doesn't drive and had to wait until her hubby came home from work this evening and got him to drive the considerable journey just to see her little Sister. Now that REALLY perked me up.
Mr Twigs has told me to take it easy for a few days to try and get my back better, so I've been making and doing - as you can see, my shops are filling up nicely.
Thanks for the get well vibes folks, you better send me some encouraging pats on the back while you're at it.

  3. It is particularly hard in January to stay cheery, so well done you for pulling it out of the hat. Glad your sister is such a star too. Give yourself a bit of time and spring will chase the blues away xx

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
