Hello everyone
Hope you've had a nice Bank Holiday however you've chosen to spend it. We were lucky enough to stay with my lovely SIL who took us country mice into London for this trip!!
Top fun but not for the faint hearted, 35 miles per hour at times at a 45 degree angle to the water - crikey !!
Twiglet was VERY, excited, his first time in London, his first ride on a tube train all topped off by a trip to the heart of the West End, for dinner, we had a super time and he pronounced it AWESOME and EPIC !!
Who are that barmy bunch at the back of the boat???
We the went here for moules, frites and lovely, strong Belgian beer !!
Look how happy Mr Twigs is now he has a beer in his hand.
The moon was visible above the many theatre signs on Shaftesbury Avenue as we went for our tube and train and well there was a lovely buzz about the place.
Twiglet took it all in his stride and both the children were wiped out by the end of the day and after 2 VERY late nights.
He slept for a solid 10 hours in his own bed last night :)
Here's the little fella in front of the London Eye.
My favourite view though had to be the Houses of Parliament - wowza, we were so lucky to see it on a gorgeous sunny early evening, just perfect.
top fun indeed.

I love London but havent been for a few years. Glad you had an amazing time, it would have been difficult for it to have not been amazing, so many things to see and do.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely time in the big city and weren't too freaked out by its business.
ReplyDeleteI love living just an hour away from London by tube we really do have the best of both worlds here
Take care

We visited London in March. It was a very lovely, but daunting experience.
