All the best wishes for 2015.

Just back from another  walk, Twiglet managed to  fall in an icy puddle, barmy and had  to walk home in a squeaky wet welly:).
My cranky old back has missed my daily walk, festive sitting around does it no good.

Anyhow, I don't bother with New Years resolutions, but have decided to adopt the mantra `oh for goodness sake just do it' (my young fogey twist on the old Nike tagline?).
I am the worlds worst procrastinator (as my line manager would testify)., so I aim to get on with it!!!

First things are flippin learn how to do cryptic crosswords, I did begin this last year and it fell by the wayside.
The other plan is stop being a big girls blouse and use my sewing machine, perhaps then I could make a big girls blouse :)

We are having our usual quiet New Years Eve at home after a family fuddle at my Mums.

However you spend this evening, enjoy it.

Thank you for reading my blog and for entertaining me so much with your blogs this year.

May I wish you a very happy, healthy and content 2015 my lovely bloggy friends.

  2. Dear Twiggy
Go for it on the sewing and using the machine - I had some lessons which have helped my confidence no end. I am only making simple clothes but am actually making and wearing them! I look forward to following your progress in 2015...
Best wishes and Happy New Year

  6. Somewhere in an English loft I have a 'Dear Santa' letter from my sister, aged about 6. In it she asks for some sewing needles with big eyes; I have a feeling she may agree with you about sewing machines too.

  7. What a good idea - I avoid the cryptic crosswords and my sewing machine has been gathering dust as it confuses me too much. Happy New year:)

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
