Cripes !!

It's blowing a gale up here and bucketing down with rain - just started as I walked back up from the school run this morning - urgh!!

It's that nearly Christmas time of year so I have my traditional pre Christmas cold, smashing.  I was going to clean the guinea pigs out today but think they might have got away with it for another day.

We are due to do our weekly grocery shop at Aldi tonight but after walking down to school and back this afternoon, I think I might want us to put our jim jams on and hibernate instead!!

Oooo did anyone watch the final episode of Remember Me on Sunday night?  I thought it was great, I love a good ghost story. (Managed not to jump and throw tea down myself this time too).

So are you getting into the Christmas groove?  although I'm a miserable git today, I've done a bit of Christmas stitching and made a batch on mince pies, written some more Christmas cards and we are looking forward to the Christmas play at school tomorrow.

I suppose I should beggar off  and do some studying now, which is what I'm supposed to be doing !!

Keep cosy.

  3. Got a few foodie bits to put in the freezer at Aldi this afternoon. Luckily it stopped raining long enough for me to empty the car before it started chucking it down again.

Gargling with dilute apple cider vinegar will help a sore throat, and if you have any eucalyptus oil put a couple of drops on your pillow when you go to bed. Hope you feel better soon. x

  4. I did wath Remember Me. I wonder if there is a book to go with the series? I think it could be quite a page turner!
I have finaihed your card, put it in my work bag and when I got back home...that's right it was still in my work bag..Doh! will try again tomorrow. It is my age and the thought of another birthday in about 2 weeks time. Terrifying.
    Hope you feel better soon.

  6. I didn't watch Remember Me - mainly because I admit to being nervous in the dark and I always have to get up to go to the loo in the night. When I come back (the bathroom door is directly opposite our bedroom door)I always hold on to the bathroom light pull until I get into the bedroom and it makes an awful clatter when I let go of it - much to the farmer's annoyance as it wakes him up! As good a reason as any for not watching Remember me - the trailer was scary enough.

  7. Caught up with Remember Me a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed it but it didn't scare me.

Hope you are feeling better soon .

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
