What's that smell?

(I tried to capture the gorgeous sunset the night before last!)

Evening all, crikey it's flippin cold up here today.

Just back from collecting Twiglet from his Christmas art club at school.

On rota this evening to make Chrimbo cards with the Cubs, craftastic!

So what is that smell? It's a batch of chilli and tomato jam for Christmas. It's always a winner as not only is it very delicious, it also clears the sinuses a treat.

Had a very nice stitch and bitch session with my pal this afternoon, with a lot more bitching than stitching :)

Oooo hello always time for a bit of baking, Twiglet likes to come home on a Thursday to a plate of these!!

Righto off to throw a stir fry together before we brave the cold and dark and journey on over to the Scout hut.

Stay cosy

Twiggy xx

  1. 20 years of being a cub scout leader and I never had a warm scout hut - always blinkin' freezing and only warmed up by Grand Howl time at the end. do they still do grand howls?

  3. Was that Tuesday night you took the sunset pic? I wished I'd had my camera with me when we were coming back from Pennistone that evening. The most beautiful sunset I've seen in ages.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
