Come outside it's lovely........

Have you had a nice week? I hope so. Well we've spent a lot of time outside over the last week. Even though we had a dusting of snow a couple of nights ago it feels like Spring is finally just around the corner.
Last weekend we visited a Steam and Diesel Gala and had a fab time,Here's an action shot of Mr Twigs playing on the slide! they even had a little local food market, where we bought these goodies. Douglas Fairbanks inspired biscuit......... Lottie Shaws seriously good hot cross buns which are indeed, seriously good.........
Some very lovely cheese, the Calderdale Bad Boy is VERY hot, bet you thought Calderdale Bad boy was Ted Hughes didn't you :) Went for a walk with Twiglets lovely little cuz, while they were oop North visiting, how sweet are they?Monday saw a VERY busy Mummy and Twiglet day.
Baking more lurid coloured buns.
Team Twiggy homemade pizzas. I made bases, the chaps`decorated'them.
Adding the finishing touches to and posting off Twiglets CBeebies flower.
Even planting our first seeds of the year!!! and we also planted a couple of Silver Birch saplings at the weekend.

Spent yesterday on our weekly, muddy day out with our friends.
All in all a grand week.
I will draw a winner for my little giveaway sometime this weekend. Add a comment to the post further down if you haven't already. you've got to be in it to win it!

  1. Awww, lovely pictures Mrs Twigs - looks like a good week all round. So glad I'm not the only parent to go down slides. Well ... it'd be rude not to, wouldn't it?! x

  3. Sounds like you have had a fantastic week, brings back lots of memories of when ours were that small and we used to do all the muddy walks, slides etc. They are grown up now though:(

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
