Red noses all round..................

Aren't these daffs gorgeous!!!
The family Twigs were going to fly a kite last weekend but we had rain, snow, hail, sun and thunder talk about 4 seasons in one day so we made thse easy hot cross buns instead - yummy!
Not much to report really this week I've got a grotty cold and poor little Twiglet has another bad cough, he's such a trooper. Send him get well soon vibes, please. He was due to celebrate Red Nose Day at nursery today by wearing red. however, the little poppet couldn't go to nursery today, so he dressed in red, we wore our noses and made some red nose buns!!!
Had a lovely day with our friends yesterday and forgot my camera - doh!
Spent a bit of time in the garden this week, look Spring is really on it's way.
The needle cases are finally finished for our Mums, the third one is for me, hey I'm a Mum too.
Here are the little parcels Mr Twigs kindly posted off to Taz for me today. you'll have to wait to find out what's in them !!That's all for now folks. Hope you've all donated some cash to Comic Relief and got your red noses. I bought one and I've got a real one too - wahey!

love

Twiggy x

PS Go over to Sykessillysite (see my sidebar) Josie is VERY generously donating all monies made from any sale in her Etsy shop before lunchtime tomorrow to Comic Relief . Some lovely stuff there.

  1. And of course tonight meant that we get the lovely David Tennant on TV for a couple of hours!

Great cakes and buns. I'm pretty sure the NHS recommends them for Twiglets with coughs.

  3. No.1's had a cold all week, and the horrible sore throat I've got today probably means she's shared it. Do you know, I got absorbed in something and didn't watch a single minute of comic relief on tv?! The kids both did school comic relief things - lots of silliness all round in a good cause. Hope you feel better soon. x

  9. Oh bless, I hope your little one is feeling better soon.

I love the picture of the daffodils, although for some reason when I have them in the house they die relatively quickly....maybe they do not like my happy house? I think maybe I will have to stick to photos instead.

We had red noses here, and we've got a massive magnet thing for our fridge, very nosey. My eldest was poorly on Friday and so there was no school for him, I am not sure what was planned at the school anyway.

    Have a great week.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
