Easter fun!

Well I was going to include everything I wanted to share with you in one post but I'd get writers cramp and you would fall asleep so we'll have a few shorter posts instead. (Above photie of some of our glorious tulips). What an exhausting but fun weekend we had, here are a few of our makes. The obligatory Easter nests.............Easter cards.Easter eggs.I mentioned previously that Twiglet went to a fab Easter egg hunt birthday party on Good Friday which was really lovely, no soft play areas, no party bags just a rollocking good time for the children and parents, playing old fashioned party games in the garden, followed by a big eggy hunt and Easter eggs and cake all round.
Flamingoland on Saturday with Twiglets lovely big cousin and lovely little cousin. This was the first time Twiglet had ever visited a theme park and he had the BEST time, we all did.
Here he is on his first rollercoaster ride with lovely big cousin. It's that mad woman again. Yes I know I look nuts!We got VERY wet in the Splash Zone.I can't believe Twiglet was brave enough to sit right at the front of this ride, while I had my head between my knees!
Over to Nana and Grandad Twigs for lunch on Sunday, followed by ANOTHER Easter egg hunt and then cleaning Nanas windows with lovely little cousin - how kind :) Also received some postal loveliness over the weekend. Lucky Twiggy. Firstly a lovely pack of backing papers from Copse on the Crafts Beautiful forum, thank you soooo much. Not only, but also, a fabtastic bundle of goodies from Max over at Maxs Craft Creations, Max has been very generous during her Easter Giveaway and I was lucky enough to win a rollover prize!!! Check out the link on my previous post and join in the fun!!! Some fantastic funky foam and a book, we've already made one of the projects I'll blog it next time. And look at this little lot, heavens to Betsy, crafting heaven!!! Flippin heck this has turned out to be a fairly long post anyway! Righto in the next instalment, more postal loveliness from lovely Julia@ Marmaladekiss, more Etsy makes, an award and some VERY exciting charity shop finds.
I will leave you with this, my SIL knows I am a big Miffy fan and indulges me no end, for Easter she bought me these lovelies, testing my love of chocolate over my love of Miffy. Sadly choccy won and I've scoffed half the box already, who would have thought, she'd be such a tasty bun!

  2. Oh sounds like you had a fab Easter. Choccies look yummy.

I love Flamingo Land....little ones go crazy for it. Last year (July) we took B on the water ride....and we had hooded rain macs...our pal wore a binbag, which hubby told me to rip off him JUST as we got to the top...he wasn;t happy....he got soaked...but it was very funny.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
