Meet Dolores

Well as promised here are just a few of the things I made after rediscovering my crafting mojo. I've had to wait a while to show you as I've been having great problems trying to photograph the side of my own head, so meet Dolores my new model. The nice thing is as she is hairless my grey hair and split ends won't distract you from my Twiggy Bandos :) Feeling dotty?
Feeling retro?Feeling Vintage or Goth? there is a Twiggy Bando for everyone - wahey!!!I've popped (or will do when they are finished) these items in my Etsy shop, along with these groovy pincushions.
In other news. Hope you're having a nice Good Friday, we went to Twiglets friends Easter Egg Hunt party this morning which was great fun, thankfully the rain held off for us but unfortunately it's tipping down now. Mr Twigs and wee Twiglet are outside in the rain planting a tree - hardy boys!!!
We have done lots of Easter crafting but I'll save that for next time. I'm currently wondering how we're going to make the Easter tree that Twiglet requested, as we shipped all garden debris off to the tip last week -oops!! We may have to have a rethink. We've got a busy weekend lined up so fingers crossed for good weather and whatever you are doing my lovely bloggy friends have fun!!
I'll leave you with photos of some of the fab sculptures from our day out with friends on Thursday.

Love
Twiggy x

just a quiet day today as hubby is working so I'm busy finishing your 'thank-you pressie for buying from me for red nose day'... I'm terrible at finishing things so hopefully it will be in the post next week, happy easter to all of you!

  2. Well, Dolores is rather a looker isn't she? What smart headgear too. (Could you email me your address - you may have done already but once more wouldn't hurt. Sorry Mrs Twig!)

    Looking forward to the craftiness.

I'm actually slightly scared of that rabbit sculpture pic - eek

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
