Step into the garden.........

That's what we've mostly been doing for the last week or so, so zilch crafting done. Hasn't the weather been gorgeous? We spent a lovely afternoon at the park yesterday where Twiglet finally managed to pedal his bike - hooray!! and we sat and listened to a brass band concert in the sunshine. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera.
So here are a few photos from our patch instead (see above Cowslips also)
Wee Twiglet playing with his sand and water table this afternoon, he WILL grow into his hat!!
Hooray Mr Twigs has finished putting in our water feature, this has been in storage since we moved 3 and a half years ago, I LOVE it and the new plum slate looks fantastic, well done Mr Twigs!I was also lucky enough to receive some gorgeous postal loveliness in the form of a swap from Emma @ Silverpebble - I promise to get my bando swap out this week Emma, I'm so pants - sorry!!!
Not only pretty buttons, but look at this beautiful bracelet made in my favourite shades, lucky Twiggy!!!Young Master Twiglet also received a very exciting parcel from Julia @ Marmaladekiss a fantabulous monkey bag and matching towel.Look at the contents of the bag, Julias yummy, scrummy choccy soap, can you see his little paw top left. He won't use any other soap dahling, a man of taste, young Master Twiglet. Thank you soooooo much Julia, he loves his (what he calls) monkey soap :)

Isn't blogland lovely and full of the best people?? Can you take any more loveliness? you can, well I fancied a 1970s retro treat for dinner this evening, so look what we had - wahey!!! It's just like the 70s again. I will be watching Ashes to Ashes tonight, now if it had been Life on Mars and I'd been wearing a tartan kilt, red wellies and my Starsky and Hutch t.shirt, it would have been the 70s - happy days!!!!Twiggy x

  3. Don't mind if I do! I have a cowslip and did have a pink dicentra, until it disappeared! Love the water feature and Twiglet in his hat, he looks so cute. Lovely treats you both had through the post, I especially like the buttons. Loved Life on Mars, and will catch up with Ashes to Ashes on tape. Ooh I remember Mum always buying Arctic Rolls when I was a kid and serving it with tinned fruit, and occasionally indulging in extra cream! Those were the days. x

  5. Oh, I remember those arctic rolls from when I had tea at my grans. Do they really still make them?
I think slightly less crafting when the weather is nice is acceptable, think of all that vitamin D you've been producing.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
