321 and I'm back in the room (I'm stood behind the hairy blokes)

Hello, well we're having a lovely half term and Twiglet isn't back at school until next Tuesday - wahey !! it's been so nice having my boy at home and not having to dash about in the morning, ironing uniforms, making packed lunches etc. My lovely Mum has been staying with us for 3 days this week which has been so nice. So what have we been up to, so far ?

Building train stations............

Baking gingerbread and lots of lovely buns...........

Catching up with old friends..........

Celebrating Valentines Day.

(See top of page too :)

Planting cute little tete a tete in vintage tea cups, they look so pretty lined up on my kitchen window ledge.

I also received these gorgeous 40th birthday ATCs from my lovely friends at ATCs4all, how kind is that? lucky Twiggy.

I've even managed to make some more earrings. I made a pair for my little Big Sis but forgot to take a pic before wrapping them up, oops. Anyhoo, here are the others, the rainbow foil, are mine all mine. However, the others will be making an appearance in my shop, so get a Twiggy original while they're hot :)

Mr Twigs and I spent a very jolly evening at the theatre on Wednesday in the company of the fine fellows at the top of the page. Wow two nights out in the space of 3 months, what's going on ?? We had a fantastic time and would recommend that you go and see them.

Joining the 20 minute crafting a day challenge has really got my creative juices flowing and I'm using the time to crack on with the wedding sampler that I'm making for my niece. It's slow work but quite satisfying.

I've been lucky enough to receive some more surprise parcels of goodies from lovely crafting mates but they can wait until next time. I'm hoping to have a play with my new sewing machine tomorrow and do a spot of crafting while Twiglet is out with Daddy, so watch this space.

Have a great weekend.
Twiggy x

I planted croci in some teacups last year, your wee flowers look lovely. I really should do it again but I guess I'm a bit late now.

  8. Oh it is so lovely to see a Mum who enjoys half term with her little one. I have such happy memories of very exciting special times with my family whilst not at school. They grow up far too quickly so keep making the best of little Twiglet and treasure every moment....my youngest baby is now 22 and 6 foot tall [but he still loves his mum to bits] :-)

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
