Hello Hector

Well it's another murky and very foggy day up here today. I took wee Twiglet out for a haircut this morning and now I'm quite happy to stay indoors. The boys are outside builing a go cart from Twiglets old pushchair and I've been making birthday cards for my little big Sister. (She's 5 inches shorter than me!!).

Remember I told you my pal was coming over on Thursday with belated Christmas and birthday gifts. They were well worth waiting for, firstly (see above) meet Hector our lovely new draught excluder complete with diamante collar (she told me she knows I like a bit of bling :) He will come in very handy once the many boxes of laminte flooring we currently have under our bed are finally laid - Easter projedt for Mr Twigs - hoorah !!!
I was totally gobsmacked at my birthday gift. My pals lovely Dad made me this wonderful stool complete with a carved Yorkshire rose, isn't it glorious??? He really should be selling these on Etsy.

Now Mr Twigs tells me I'm good at making something out of nothing - hoho. So what about these beauties, I've had a charm bracelet for ages that I've worn twice, look at it now a lovely pile of beads for my new hobby !!!

These fab tea towels cost me £1.49 for 3 from Home Bargains, I love them and I'm currently thinking what to make them into. Any ideas???

Righto, I've just bought myself a copy of Moneysaving Ways for Modern Days by Martin Lewis which I'm about to peruse.
Have a great weekend.
Twiggy x

  6. Loving that your new doggy. I've had make a draught excluder on my to do list since last winter, maybe next summer I'll bet my bum into gear to do it.

    Gorgeous table!

And that is a far more reasonable price for tea towels that what I've been seeing lately.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
