Tatty Bye

My first poppy has flowered isn't it gorgeous ??? (Note Twiglets VERY scarey new climbing frame in the corner - I can't watch him walk across the TOP of the monkey bars - argh!). The plant has about 8 heads on it this year, most of the flowers I will miss as the Twiggys are decamping to Welsh Wales tomorrow - hooray !!!Poor old Twiglet had the day off school yesterday as he was CHASING at school on Tuesday, fell over his own feet and has a huge lump on his head, a cut nose and a very scabby knee :( he was very brave about it all. I said did you get a cuddle at school he said, no school doesn't do cuddles - so I jumped on him and cuddled him up. He said ok, Mummy it's not THAT bad - oy cheeky !!!

He did pretty well out of it though, I phoned Mr Twigs and told him that Twiglet had been VERY brave and would he fetch him a little prize, I was thinking a comic or some such. Mr Twigs brought home a model plane with an engine for him, I mean Twiglet to play with !!!
Righto, as ever I've left packing until the last minute, extreme packing is my favourite sport, so catch you all later. Enjoy the half term hols, those of you with little people.

Twiggy x

  8. "Climbing Frame Dread".
How do you parents handle the stress?

As a non-parent, I can never imagine how anyone can bear to watch their kids learning to take risks.

    (Liked the poppy, too)

  10. Hope you're having a lovely half term. The weather seems to be OK now we've had the rain and stuff, so thankfully we might get some sun now for the rest of the week.

The poppy is lovely. In my garden it'd more than likely get squashed by something, so here's hoping yours won't!! :o) xx

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
