Chuffin Nora to be jolly...

That's the first line of Deck the Halls according to my niece, she has sung this version since she was tiny.  I have no idea why that came to mind, but thought I'd try John @ Going Gently's theory of hook em in with a good title.  However John, I don't think anyone could surpass yours from yesterday, it's still making me laugh today.

Anyhoo, a day of errands for me today.  We share a car, so had to drop hubby off at work, take Twiglet to dentists, go to post office, drop him back at school, nip to shops, take car to hubbys place of work, so he could bring me back home and keep the car - phew!!
Blitzed the house, created a mountain of crappola to go to the tip, Twiglet has tidied his room and finally agrred to get rid of 12 games!!! some he wants to give to a chazza shop near Grandmas for another little boy to enjoy, the others to sell on Ebay.

I trotted down to school to pick the young lad and his mate T up, I have no idea what they are up to upstairs but it's noisy, this must be what it's like having more than one human dynamo :)
Righto better go and get the pizza going for the young sirs.

Apologies for lack of photos, I've done this blog post on my Kindle, so I also better apologise for the lack of links and any typos:)

Keep cosy, it's flippin freezing up here and we've had 2 snow showers but they have not settled as yet.

  1. A mountain of crappola is a brilliant description Twiggy. Who invented plastic? You spend money buying things and then you pay to get rid of it. I have even seen 'organic' vegetables wrapped in plastic packaging!

  2. Snowed here to for awhile but nothing to show now. Must be quite a minefield at times sharing the car, takes some planning I'm thinking. Mr Grey's blog titles are truly something but then again, having met the gentleman, they are hardly surprising! Oh thinking about your comment upon my tardy scribings I may well indeed have a hobby in the pipeline.....but it's not going to be what you may expect my dear!

  4. "Chuffing Nora to be jolly ..." I love that :D Totally going to hear that every time I hear the 'real' version from here on. Happy New year to you and yours, Twiggy. I hope you all enjoy a splendiferous 2015. x

  5. Thought about you on Tuesday when we took Small for his swimming at Willow Lodge, and we gave a wave in the general direction of Emley mast :) You keep warm too. It's bitter here today so must be a good few degrees colder up your way. x

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
