If you go down to the woods today...............

You won't see these fellas cos they are on my hearth.

Twiglet and I had a play with my Woodland Animals book after school today - awesome !!!

Busy day in school today and the snow is melting - yay !!

The children have had a fab day.

Zoolab came in, in the morning with Geckos, lizards and rabbits and this afternoon a lot of snow sculptures were made out on the school field, including snowman, cats and Egyptian Gods :)

(These snowy pics are from our snow day yesterday).

After a busy day at work I'm looking forward to a nice, cosy, weekend with my boys.

(I really don't think we had enough cream in our hot choccy yesterday, do you?)
Have a great weekend and stay safe.

  2. Ooh yes! Hot chocolate. There is a bakery near me that serves it with home made marshmallows. I will make it my duty to have some today. :-) I'm glad you enjoyed the snow day. Days like that are precious.

  5. Oooh, hot choc, just the job! I sometimes put a dash of rum in mine if I am really cold. We discovered this on a trip to Chatsworth in November 2013 at the Christmas market :) You seem to have had a bit more snow than us, Twiggy, just a flurry yesterday then it was gone in the sunshine. I like a little but not drifts of it if I have to go out x

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
