Winter warmer

Evening, well it was so windy up here yesterday, my knickers didn't blow away but my for sale sign did, 61miles per hour and my house for sale sign ended up in next doors garden!!

Today we began with ice, had many snow showers and experienced what the media have christened thunder snow??  a thunder storm involving snow.  

Blimey I thought the kids in school were going to go nuts, I felt a bit beside myself too to be honest, livened up the accounts no end :)

Right apologies for short post, being Friday, all day at work, home to my beloved slow cooker and a beef stew followed by rhubarb crumble and custard and a pint of Tetley's Hunters Ale. 

 Tiptop.

Righto, readers of old will know my complete love for David Tennant, I am now deserting you to go and watch him on the Graham Norton Show (Mr Twigs like Olivia Coleman - who doesn't? she is completely lovely, so something for everyone.




Now it's my birthday next week, do you think my eternal birthday wish might come true??


Now he is indeed a Winter warmer.

    Great snow landscape picture Twiggy. Never heard of Tetleys Hunter ale. I always liked Theakstons when I visited Yorkshire.

    I must be even more weird than I thought, because I know lots of people find Mr Tennant nothing short of gorgeousness personified. But I just don't get it. Not a single tingle! Leaves more for you girls who do love him, I guess :p

    Sorry, Twiggy, but I don't get tingles around Tennant either. In fact, he scares me sometimes when he has that wild, angry look in his eyes . Perhaps you like that sort of look! Help!

      Now take a look at my facebook page, (there is a photo of my hubby on there) and you tell me, he has his wild and angry moments when I comment on his driving :)

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
