Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Isn't it chilly??? We've had several character building walks during the last week and a steam train ride with our mates, wahey!! Even managed a childfree trip to the pub with friends, in amongst the family get togethers. Whatever next !!!!
Young Master Twiglet was VERY giddy at Christmas what with a visit from Father Christmas AND a new big boy bedroom (he moved in on Christmas Eve, extreme DIY from Mr Twigs) and our house is now Thomas tastic, here he is lying on his new track in aforementioned bedroom.

I was lucky enough to receive some lovely gifts, look at this for my viewing pleasure, we started watching the Barchester Chronicles last night. However, we haven't got to the point where gorgeous Alan Rickman has appeared yet. I'll have my smelling salts at the ready (will probably rub my leg, in the style of Vic Reeeves too:)
Also received some cracking reads, the top book bought for me by Mr Twigs, is fab, if you haven't read it. You'll love it. Did everyone receive a copy of MAKE? ohhh Cath Kidston heaven, thanks Grandma Twiggy. I'm super inspired. Mr Twigs bought me a lovely little camera - cos I keep stealing his - it's a really small, cute little Nikon, I must make it a little case. Only problem is, it keeps saying this photo is blurred, want to keep it? How rude !!!
Look what Twiglet bought me, a Daisie Davies original, isn't it lovely?
These are from Silver of the Valley, a fab Etsy seller. See I was good and let Nana Twiggy have the earrings I bought for her, so had these as consolation. Gorgeous.
Here's a photo from the steam train outing, flippin heck we were cold. check out Twiglet and his little buddy in their matching Thomas hats :) Took this photo today, thought the tree looked really pretty with it's bauble like apples. With Mr Twigs and Twiglet being at home and whispers ... no illness for 2 weeks..... it's been really lovely.
My creative juices have started flowing again and I've started making and doing, so I'll show you some pics soon.
Have you all got resolutions this year? I'm still thinking of mine but I'm sure the usual suspects will be there, especially after all the choccy I've scoffed over the past 2 weeks. I'm being summoned now to play Ker Plunk, so bye for now.
love
Twiggy x

  1. Oooh, what a lovely son to buy you such a beautiful brooch!! Didn't he wrap it nicely too?? Hahah! Thanks for the mention.

Rubbing thighs in Vic Reeves manner is fine just as long as you don't do a Trev and Simon trouser swing!! Remember them?!

Happy New Year Twigs etc xxxx

  10. Hi Twiggy, thanks for keeping in touch on my blog. I don't make resolutions, they just never happen! Talking of Cath Kidston, from whom I hadn't ever bought a thing, I had a pack of two teatowels from my niece for Christmas, I must say they are nice, and I was rather pleased. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. x

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
