I'm in love.....................

Can you remember a while back I said I was in love and promised more later. Well here is Betsy the object of my affections.
Mr Twigs saw her on Freecycle and contacted the lovely lady who wanted to find her a new home. She told him that she wanted her to go to someone who wants to learn how to play - that's me, likes pink - that's me and is left handed - me again. Isn't she lovely? I've just got to learn how to play her now!!!! (she also matches my duffel coat, but that's by the by).
Mr Twigs has a couple of electric guitars and Twiglet was strumming one this morning and came up with this ditty - I wish I could see the real Ivor (the engine) but Mummy and Daddy say he's too far away, see you in the Summer Ivorrrrrrrrrrrrr - working title The Ivor the Engine Blues :)

Had a lovely afternoon with our buddies on Thursday, sadly my camera batteries ran out before I got a good piccy of the boys covered head to toe in mud, they were filthy, had to change their clothes before we could go to the cafe. Sign of a good day out in my book, dirt and lots of it - we have a lot of good days out based on that criteria !!
And we managed a trip to the park with Mr Twigs too, in fact if I've not been at work this week we've been outside.
How lucky am I? I received this lovely little parcel of goodies along with a gorgeous birthday card from MariTrez from the Crafts Beautiful forum, you kind lady, thank you very much, what a lovely surprise. ( I LOVE paper nearly as much as buttons).Haven't done much crafting this week as I've been working, so v.tired in the evening, but I have been working on this which makes me smile whenever I look at it, and for once it's for me - hooray!!!!Just wanted to mention the fab giveaway on Cuteable.com, if you haven't already entered go take a look (link in my sidebar , I MUST learn how to do links properly - doh!).

Finally, I'll do the draw for my birthday giveaway on Tuesday, so get your comments in on the giveaway post if you haven't already.
Have a good week
love

  2. Very nice guitar - and what a stroke of luck that it matches your duffel coat.

My kids have both got guitars. No.2 has just started learning, and No.1, after over 3 years of lessons is not half bad. Wish I could play, but I can't. Not a tune, anyway.

    Lovely Cath Kidston bag.

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
