Hello there, thank you SO much for my lovely birthday wishes, I'll tell you more this weekend :)I'm sure by now you'll have heard that lovely Tony Hart died last weekend - Oliver Postgate this month too, thank goodness Basil Brush and Sooty and Sweep are still around or I would be one sad Twiggy.
Anyhoo,I used to love his programmes espesh the gallery where he showed childrens art work. I sent mine in, it never got shown but this was rectified when Twiglet and I made a paper plate picture and sent it into CBeebies and was shown by Sid - fame 30 years later!!!!! Of course it was ALL his own work!!!
Anyhoo, it seems that Mr Twigs and I used to shout at the telly whilst watching the gallery when we were v.young , THAT'S GOOD FOR A 6 (or whatever age the child was - does this mean we were destined to marry:) we still do it to be honest so to celebrate Mr Hart and the inspiration he gave many children to get out the tin foil and string. I thought it would be nice to have a couple of pics of Twiglets artworks.
