As promised here are some photos of my voodoo bunny, I used a delightful pattern from Jean Greenhowes Jiffyknits, however it didn't turn out quite as I'd planned. The first photo shows the features given to it by Twiglet, looks a bit like Papa Lazarou from the comedy The League of Gentelmen.
Copyright S.Jones 2008 My attempt isn't much better, you can't actually see its features, the invisible bunny, oh well perhaps I should have stuck with the knitted play food :)
Copyright S.Jones 2008And finally. As they say on the news I will be announcing a little bit of blog candy loveliness in the next day or so, so keep checking in and watch this space.
Sounds like a lovely childhood memory building type of day :o)
ReplyDeleteI love bunny!
That truly does sound like a happy day! Love the little rabbit especially the one with the luscious lips!
ReplyDeleteI think the bunnies are great - they put a huge smile on my face, so thank you for that :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd here he is, in all his knitted glory, everyone loves a bunny, very cute and very clever to have knitted him. That postbox is nice, very nostalgic, and so nice to see it still being used and not replaced by one of those horrible plastic efforts. I wish I was Twiglet's age again, just spending my time poking sticks into walls, great. x
ReplyDeleteI wanna come and play at your house ... and feed the ducks ... and poke sticks ... and lie in the grass and turn clouds into shapes and .... oh so many things!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful memories your little one will have to treasure.
