Spring is Sprung & A Belated Happy St Patricks Day!

To get you in the mood for Spring look at our garden, ooh I love this time of year daffodils, fluffy white lambs, blackbirds nesting in the hedges, fantastic.
Ohhh I'm blogging crazy today. First of all as promised a pic from our magical Day Out With Thomas. Recognise the man in the top hat?
By the way Happy St Patricks Day to all you gorgeous Irish lovelies out there. Boy I love Ireland, we usually go to South West Cork or Connemara for our jolly hols and we LOVE it, beautiful scenery, beautiful people. We both agree as soon as we drive off the ferry we seem to just RELAX - pure Irish magic. So hope you enjoyed the day whether or not you're celebrating today or you did your celebrating on Saturday.
Now onto some crafty stuff, I've just finished a taggie blanket for my friends little boy. It's his christening in April and I wanted to make him something he would use and he loves taggies so hope he likes it.
I made this little ducky for my little ducky, hope he likes it. I've ordered some green and yellow felt from Ebay so think I might make a little bag for Easter goodies.
Today we went a visiting to see friends, drop off Easter eggs etc and look what me and Twiglet made.Phew, I think that's it. Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog you lovely people. Don't forget to keep on adding your comments on my Pay it Forward post as they say on telly, you've got to be in it , to win it.

  1. You have been a busy little bee, love the taggie, cute material. I know what you mean about being scared of your sewing machine. I think I am too. Where did you go to see Thomas?

  6. Spring is my favourite time of year for plants, just seeing daffodils makes me feel really happy. You must have had a fun time with Thomas. All the little 'uns are bound to like their presents, they are lovely. I often make chocolate crispy nest cakes, with the thought in mind I have already bought two bags of Cadburys mini eggs and have eaten both bags before I even get to make the cakes! x

Well I"ve finally taken the plunge...................

After drooling over many blogs for months now I've decided to finally take the plunge, so here is my new dawn.
Hence the beautiful sunrise above as photographed by Mr Twiggy through our bedroom window. (I'm sure I'll be including a lot of his pics, hope he doesn't expect commision).

I love crafting and have ever since I was a little girl and spent hours playing with my mums button tin (which I've inherited) and amused my self by making dresses for my dollies - even though I'd cut their hair and given them green felt tip highlights. Punk Tiny Tears - I should have marketed this idea !!

Hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed others who are a daily inspiration to me.

I hope to share favourite blogs, books and anything and everything with you, so enough off my blithering on and watch this space...............................................
